Timo is a 40-year-old pianist, whose wife has just left him. Leo is a sick old man who hasn’t seen his son for 30 years. Their paths finally cross in a decisive moment in their lives. They differ from each other considerably. Leo is quarrelsome man, with health destroyed by alcohol and cigarettes, but he’s aware how little time he has left. He decides to convince Timo to go to Lapland. They set out north.
