In 1931 the Russian director Sergei Eisenstein travels to Guanajuato to direct his film titled ¡Que viva México!.Struck by the new, previously unknown to him culture, the artist starts to re-evaluate his approach to his homeland and the Stalinist regime. He also changes the way he sees his own art.
PETER GREENAWAY Born in 1924 in Newport, Wales. He’s not only an acclaimed film director but also a painter. His best known film is The Cook, the Thief, His Wife and Her Lover. Greenaway is considered to be a precursor in the area of film techniques. In 2014 he received the BAFTA for Outstanding British Contribution to Cinema.
